He admires and looks up to his great grandfather & his grandfather, as they are his inspirations for the path he is on. He's very hesitant, though he's the first to rephrase it as cautious, and he tends to be a little stubborn as well, though that's mainly a family trait. He's also a bit shy around girls, often being limited in his reactions aside from blushing and minimal verbal responses when flirted with. He grew up in a modest lifestyle due to his parents choice in raising him, and as such grew up thinking that he really didn't need a whole lot. During his younger years he often spent time playing outside with children of other families, not really caring about the blood status of his playmates. He often acted as leader of his little group of friends, that is until after leading them into a cave, they all fled after a group of bats awoke and chased them out, with Garion spraining his ankle in the process. After this he tended to drift to the background of his friends, more hesitant in his decision making than he had been before. Then, when he was eleven, Garion entered Hogwarts. Garion was sorted into Gryffindor, and then began his first year, which like the following four years was pretty uneventful aside from making friends and giving Quidditch a try, playing from year two until the end of his fourth year as a chaser. In year 5 he became a prefect, which helped him overcome his hesitation a bit, but not enough to say it was a legitimate differencemaker. He also found himself taking a good long look at the werewolf problem that was causing trouble throughout both the wizarding and muggle communities. This, combined with his admiration of his great grandfather and his grandfather, left him resolved to become an Auror, so that he could help protect the Wizarding Community.
